Bei Bei and Huan Huan have been named after two of the Olympic mascot because they were born on the second day of the 2008 Games.
The panda's mother, 9-year-old Qi Zhen, gave birth to a twins after over 100 days of pregnancy at a panda breeding research centre near the city of Chengdu in Sichuan province.
