Picture:Baby Stella was born on 25 February, weighing seven pounds, seven ounces.

Stella Biblis was conceived after scientists injected a defrosted sperm into an egg from wife Melodie who is a nurse and currently 33 years old, implanted it in her uterus. Doctors successfully thawed Chris Biblis sperm sample a record 22 years later. Chris now aged 38, a former leukaemia patient who had his sperm frozen as a teenager, 16 when doctors told him that he needed radiotherapy that would leave him sterile has fathered a baby. The 22-year lapse between storage in April 1986 and conception in June 2008 is a world record, Mr Biblis, of Charlotte, North Carolina, who has been free of leukaemia since the age of 18 is simply joyful beyond words. There are still five eggs successfully fertilised in the laboratory which remain in storage, allowing the couple the option of having more children. Wing's clinic, Reproductive Endocrinology Associates of Charlotte said the treatment an average of $13,000 to $14,000.
